We are finnishing installing the lights in the Árnafjarðartunnilin.
Árnafjarðartunnilin is 1930m long.
We have installed 18 Emergency stations.
There are 2 large emergency stations placed outsite each portal from which the safety can be controlled from. The safety system is delivered by El-Service, which is the same beeing used in most of the other tunnels in Faroe Islands also.
Examples on other technical equipment, also delivered by El-Service for this tunnel:
UPS Emergency Battery Solution, gass-, dust and wind sensors, radio system with "radio-beam cable", Traffic signs, Power Switchboards, Heating Detecting Cable.
